Once you have made a choice, we will make a reservation in your name and the property will be removed from our website.
Once all formalities have been completed, the lawyer will do the necessary research to check whether the property complies with the regulations in all areas. If all requirements have been met, the sales agreement can be drawn up and signed by both the buyer and the seller. It usually takes 2 to 3 months before the official deed is drawn up by the notary.
Spain Property Purchase
In addition to the asking price, you should budget between 10% and 13% more to cover taxes and fees.
When buying property in Spain you will need a NIE number (Número de Identidad de Extranjero). If your lawyer has power of attorney for you, he can easily obtain it for you.
We can help you find the right bank for you and open an account. However, most Spanish banks in the region have English-speaking staff and also offer online banking in English.
The maximum LTV (Loan To Value) currently available to non-residents is 70% and rates can range from approximately 1.5% for a variable rate loan and approximately 4% for a fixed rate loan.
